The Iloilo Provincial Government has provided P10 million in cash assistance to the Municipality of San Miguel to support its Solid Waste Management Program.
San Miguel Mayor Bonifacio S. Salapantan Jr. received the cheque for the assistance from the Iloilo Provincial Government.
The fund will be used to purchase important equipment needed to improve the municipality’s garbage collection and waste management operations.
The assistance covers the purchase of solid waste management equipment, a standby generator, and a garbage truck for the municipality.
The support aims to help San Miguel improve its waste management services and maintain cleaner and healthier surroundings for its residents.
